Newsletter n°8

This coming Saturday, November 15, at Les Roches in Bluche, Valpic takes to the water… After seeing what it costs and touching on some of its history, we’ll be looking at its future, as it’s so closely linked to our own as owners.

Who better than the President of Icogne, Olivier Duchoud, Icogne’s major source of water for the Haut-Plateau, accompanied by engineer Yves Rey, designer of the Lienne-Raspille project, to explain the future paths of “our” water?

They know that to determine where it should go, you need to know where it is, and therefore where it comes from. Knowledge of water sources and existing infrastructures is the basis for their thinking and solutions, which must adapt to a growing and variable demography on the one hand, and on the other, to global warming, which is melting our glaciers and reducing our storage capacities.

It’s a heavy burden and a great responsibility to come up with new solutions to match the genius of our ancestors, the builders of the bisses that made this mountain habitable.

Will Olivier Duchoud and Yves Rey, for Valpic, rise to these new challenges, enabling us to build a serene future on our beloved Haut-Plateau?

Answers on Valpic Saturday, November 15 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Les Roches in Bluche. Optional dinner on site (Valpic reservation required).
